CLASSES OFFERED:
VINYASA I : This beginner-friendly moderately-paced class introduces the fundamental principles of Vinyasa flow yoga where one links breath and movement. With emphasis on developing a strong foundation and understanding of the fundamental postures and breathwork, the sequences with various postures are threaded together in a logical manner like a story telling. 90 degree temperature with moderate humidity. Suitable for newer yogis as well as experienced.
VINYASA II : This intermediate, faster-paced class builds upon the basics and introduces more challenging poses, longer sequences, and creative transitions. You will experience dynamic and invigorating sessions with advanced asanas, arm balances, inversions, and backbends. Vinyasa II will help you refine alignment, heighten your body awareness, and deepen the connection of breath to movement. 90 degree-warm temperature with moderate humidity. Open to all levels but previous yoga experience recommended.
VINYASA X : Ideal for those seeking a rigorous and transformative practice, this intermediate to advanced moderately-paced vinyasa class will help you take your practice to new heights. Vinyasa X delves into complex poses, intricate sequences and advanced transitions requiring a strong foundation and familiarity with yoga. 90 degrees with moderate humidity. Previous yoga experience highly recommended.
HANDSTAND CLASS : An all level handstand class that uniquely changes every week. Class format is a 60 minute class followed by an optional 30 minutes extra time after to play, practice, ask questions, get more time and personalized attention from me.
MEDITATIVE YOGA : In this class, yogis move slowly and mindfully through a creative sequence, establishing a rhythmic connection between breath and movement. Variations are offered in each pose so that yogis can calibrate the depth and intensity of the flow to their needs. Special emphasis is placed on breathwork and on finding stillness of body and mind in each posture. 90 degrees with moderate humidity. All levels welcome.
ASHTANGA : The Ashtanga Primary Series, also known as "Yoga Chikitsa (yoga therapy)," consists of 79 asanas(postures) and various vinyasas (float throughs). Under the guidance of the teacher, participants move through the sequence as a group, maintaining a steady rhythm and synchronizing breath with movement to enhance strength, flexibility, and stamina. No music, 80 degrees with moderate humidity. All levels welcome.
VINYASA FUNDAMENTALS : This class will focus on vinyasa fundamentals with a slower and more detailed look at alignment, anatomy and physiology, as well as breath technique. Expect to build more awareness and foundational strength which will give you more ease and stability, and prevent injury in a Vinyasa class. Beginner friendly. All levels welcome. 80 degrees with moderate humidity.
ROCKET VINYASA : Rocket Yoga, AKA “The Rocket”, is a dynamic and invigorating style of yoga that combines traditional Ashtanga Yoga with elements of creative vinyasa yoga flow. This class is suitable for all practitioners, regardless of where you are in your yoga journey. 90 degrees with moderate humidity. All levels welcome.
SOULFUL SUNDAY : This dynamic vinyasa-flow class, guided by Brook's expertise, centers on the power of breath. As you move to modern music, you'll tap into an authentic connection with yourself and others. Through meaningful messaging and strong connections, you'll manifest clarity, strength, and inner peace for the week ahead. 90 degrees with moderate humidity. All levels welcome.
YIN & MEDITATION : Deep stretch poses with longer holds to allow the benefits of the practice to move beyond the larger muscles into connective tissues and Fascia. Providing a longer lasting effect on overall body mobility and flexibility. The practice will close with yoga nidra, sound or meditation to restore the mind and spirit as well as the body. 80 degrees with moderate humidity.
CREATIVE POWER VINYASA : A creative breath filled Vinyasa Flow leaving you deeply nourished in your mind, body and spirit.
Practiced in a nurturing smaller class setting, you will not only develop confidence, physical strength and flexibility, but also a sense of belonging. 90 degree temperature with moderate humidity. Suitable for newer yogis as well as experienced.
